The Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center is a not-for-profit wildlife park and educational facility. The award-winning destination plays host to some of the most spectacular creatures native to North America, including grizzlies, otters, wolves, ground squirrels, and birds of prey.
The Center’s purpose is to help visitors understand native species and appreciate the valuable role they play in balancing local ecosystems. All the animals at the Center are “ambassadors” for their wild counterparts and are unable to survive in the wild.

While Yellowstone’s primary attraction is its incredible geysers, including Old Faithful, it is also home to an impressive IMAX theater. Here you can watch films depicting Yellowstone’s spectacular scenery (as well as recent blockbuster hits). Yellowstone feature films run every hour or so between 10 am and 7 pm.

Exhibits track important events in the park’s history, including the battle with bears, the development of the historic district, the 1959 earthquake, and the 1988 fires that swept through the region.

Lastly, you might want to go hiking in the Gallatin National Forest. This region, part of the greater Yellowstone ecosystem, is home to rare species, remote buttes, and expansive pine savannas. It’s also famous for its volunteering and photo opportunities.
