St. Augustine is also famous for its “Nights of Lights” festival, a popular event recognized by National Geographic as one of the world’s top 10 places to see holiday lights. From Nov. 21 to Jan. 18, 2027, downtown St. Augustine will glow with millions of tiny white lights that create a magical atmosphere.

The event features 5 million lights across two miles of glimmering zoo trail, a new floating Christmas tree light show and other entertainment.
Las Noches de las Luminarias at Desert Botanical Garden takes place on select nights from November 27 through January 3, 2027. Thousands of luminarias, light displays, music and seasonal entertainment transform the Sonoran Desert landscape into a distinctly Arizona holiday experience.
One of the most popular holiday events is “Christmas at the Princess.” Hosted at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, this resort display features 17 million lights throughout a 65-acre wonderland that includes a four-story musical tree and an outdoor desert ice skating rink under illuminated palm trees.

Along the way, enjoy lively music, seasonal bites, and festive cocktails.
