Out of this World: Visit UAP Hotspots and Extraterrestrial-themed Destinations in a Luxury Motorcoach Rental

Lately, there’s been a lot of buzz about UFOs, (Unidentified Flying Objects), and UAPs (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena). Recent movies like Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day, the 2025 documentary The Age of Disclosure, and popular shows, such as Ancient Alien, The X-Files and Netflix’s recent hit, The Boroughs, have many people looking up towards the skies and talking about what could be possible.

But curiosity about UFOs dates back to the summer of 1947. On June 24, a pilot reported a formation of nine shiny, crescent-shaped objects flying at incredible speeds near Mount Rainier, Washington. Two weeks later, on July 8, mysterious metallic and rubber debris was recovered in a sheep pasture near Roswell, New Mexico. The local Army airfield initially sparked a worldwide sensation by announcing the retrieval of a “flying disc,” then quickly retracted the statement, calling it a crashed weather balloon.

UFO Tourism is on the Rise

There have been more than 180,000 reported sightings since 1974, according to the National UFO Reporting Center, based in Davenport, Washington.

Is it possible that we’ve been visited by other beings from a different planet or solar system? One thing is for sure…people are curious about it.

UFO tourism is a thriving sector of astrotourism that involves traveling to prominent UAP hotspots and extraterrestrial-themed destinations. Travelers engage in activities like guided nighttime skywatching with military-grade night vision goggles, visiting dedicated museums, and attending annual alien festivals. Many UFO travelers also seek out International Dark Sky destinations, where clear, low-light conditions make for prime nighttime viewing.

Why Charter a Luxury Motorcoach to Visit UFO Hotspots?

When you charter a luxury motorcoach through LiTRV, you and your family or friends will travel to UAP hotspots and extraterrestrial-themed destinations in comfort and style. No more forgetting something important back at the hotel. Much like an upscale hotel suite, a luxury motorcoach features the convenience of an expansive kitchen, comfortable beds, multiple bathrooms, washer and dryer, and even a dishwasher. Just like a resort room, you can wake up with a hot shower and turn on the air conditioning if the weather is warm or humid outside. There’s also plenty of room for your pets to stretch out and relax and ample room for luggage. All luxury motorcoaches have Smart TVs throughout and WIFI access.

All of LiTRV’s short- and long-term charters include a private driver. Our professional drivers have decades of experience driving large vehicles throughout the country, and they often go “above and beyond” to make each journey a memorable one. For example, they can set up a decorative ground cover next to the luxury motorcoach so you can relax outside and stargaze at night, or they can drop you off at an evening viewing event and pick you up when you are ready to continue your journey.

The best part about having a private driver is that you and your family and friends don’t need to take turns driving, giving you more quality time together to enjoy exploring popular UAP destinations. And when there’s an overnight stop, we arrange for our driver to stay nearby so you can enjoy your privacy.

Here are four popular UAP hotspots to consider visiting:

Roswell, New Mexico

Located in southeastern New Mexico, Roswell is renowned as the site of the alleged 1947 UFO crash. The city attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists year-round and hosts many events, including its UFO Festival. Spend the day at the International UFO Museum and Research Center or visit the Alien Zone, a popular downtown gift shop packed with interactive photo opportunities and quirky souvenirs. There’s even a UFO-themed McDonald’s.

Our LiTRV concierge specialist can explore availability at nearby RV sites, such as the pet-friendly Spring River RV Resort. We can also work closely with you on a custom itinerary that includes stops at other spectacular New Mexican destinations, such as the famous Carlsbad Caverns, about 90 minutes south of Roswell, or Santa Fe, a mecca for fine art and culture, about 3 hours north. If you choose to visit Santa Fe, we can check availability at award-winning resorts, such as the Ojo Spa Resort. Our LiTRV private driver can drop you off and pick you up when you are ready to continue your journey.

Nevada’s Extraterrestrial Highway (Area 51 Region)

The Extraterrestrial Highway (officially Nevada State Route 375) is a 98-mile stretch of remote desert road in south-central Nevada. Renamed in 1996, it earned its nickname from its proximity to the top-secret Area 51 military base and decades of frequent UFO and stealth aircraft sightings.

Area 51 is a highly classified U.S. Air Force facility located at Groom Lake, about 83 miles north-northwest of Las Vegas. The closest town, Rachel, Nevada, has a population under 50, but attracts 10,000 to 15,000 visitors each year. Most stop at the Little A’Le’Inn, which serves as a restaurant, bar, and 12-room motel, alongside a small convenience store/gas station and a small on-site RV park.

Our LiTRV concierge specialists can check availability at Picketts RV Park in Alamo, about 40 minutes from Rachel, or plan a customized itinerary to Las Vegas, about 2 ½ hours away.

Sedona, Arizona

Less than two hours north of Phoenix, Sedona is surrounded by red-rock buttes, steep canyon walls, and pine forests. Uptown Sedona is dense with New Age shops, spas and art galleries, while the town’s outskirts features scenic trailheads and access to Red Rock State Park.

Sedona is also a major hotspot for UFO sightings. Some consider the mystical town an “intergalactic airport.”

Sedona UFO Tours offers nighttime guided, group, or solo excursions to watch for UFOs with night-vision binoculars. The popular tourist destination also offers a wide variety of vortex tours designed to help visitors connect with the area’s spiritual energy, meditate, and enjoy the red rock landscape.

Our LiTRV concierge specialist can explore availability at nearby RV resorts, such as Verde Ranch RV Resort in Camp Verde, about 30 minutes from Sedona. We can also check availability at luxury resorts, such as Ambiente Sedona or Enchantment Resort. Our LiTRV private driver can drop you off at the resort for a few days and pick you up when you are ready to continue your journey.

Marfa, Texas

Marfa is an arts hub located in the Chihuahuan Desert in West Texas. The remote town is famous for the “Marfa Lights” — glowing, dancing orbs that have sparked UFO, ghost, and atmospheric theories since they were first documented by a cowboy in 1883. While skeptics attribute many modern sightings to passing car headlights, some lights remain unexplained by scientists.

Once the sun sets, visit the Marfa Lights Viewing Site, located 9 miles east of Marfa along U.S. Highway 67/90. It features a dedicated parking lot, restrooms, and telescopes to help you scan the dark, uninhabited prairie horizon.

Our LiTRV concierge specialist can check availability at a nearby RV site, or we can check availability at the Hotel Saint George in town or Cibola Creek Ranch, a 30,000-acre historic resort and active cattle ranch that is nestled in the foothills of the Chinati Mountains, about 40 minutes from downtown Marfa. Our LiTRV private driver can drop you off and pick you up when you are ready to continue your journey.
