If you’re looking to stay at one of the most prestigious luxury motorcoach resorts in the country, Solstice Motorcoach Resort in Mesquite, Nevada, could be it. This acclaimed destination, just off I-15, sits within striking distance of Southern Utah and the bright lights of Las Vegas.
Given its prime location, there’s so much to do here. Here are your priorities:
Enjoy The On-Site Amenities
Solstice Motorcoach Resort & Country Club is set up for luxury living. On-site facilities include a gym, pool table, bocce ball courts, pool with hot tub, games rooms, and indoor/outdoor lounge meeting areas. Many motorcoach enthusiasts love it for the opportunities to network and get to know other guests.
Visit The Casinos in Sin City
Located in Mesquite, Solstice Motorcoach Resort is just an hour and a quarter drive from the Las Vegas Strip. Here, you can place bets in some of the most famous casinos in the world, including Caesars Palace, Bellagio, Venetian, and Wynn. You can also enjoy plenty of other attractions, including the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay and the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. This exhibit takes you back in time, detailing precisely what happened to the ill-fated ship on its fateful maiden voyage across the north Atlantic.
Go Hiking in The Beaver Dam Wash National Conservation Area
The Beaver Dam Wash National Conservation Area is a region located in the southwest corner of Utah, less than an hour’s drive from Solstice Motorcoach Resort. The park gets its name from the Beaver Dam Mountains, which flank the eastern side of the park. The landscape is part of the ecological transition zone between the Great Basin and the Mojave Desert featuring white bursage, creosote bush, and many other shrubs at lower elevations. If you’re lucky, you may spot the rare Mojave Desert tortoise while here.
Drive As Far as You Dare Along Whitney Pockets
Whitney Pockets is a remote road that runs from Mesquite deep into the wilderness. While it is paved, it is extremely worn and features some beautiful rock formations. Along the way, you’ll find plenty of camping spots that provide stunning views of the sunset. People go here to get away from it all and enjoy valuable time by themselves or with a small group of friends.
Gawp at Little Finland Inside the Gold Butte National Monument
Little Finland is a geological feature located between Mesquite and Lake Mead offering spectacular photo opportunities for adventurers keen enough to visit it. The road is paved and deteriorates as you travel further into Gold Butte National Monument. For the last six miles running up to Little Finland, a 4X4 vehicle is recommended.
